- about belle -

I am a pelvic floor physical therapist that is passionate about women receiving the appropriate education and medical treatment that they deserve in regards to pelvic floor dysfunction.  I graduated from the East Tennessee State University Physical Therapy Program in 2016. After graduation I worked in private orthopedic clinics in San Diego, CA and also worked in home health with the geriatric population. My husband had a job change which brought us to Charlotte, NC where I gained additional experience in home health pediatrics, and began working with women's health shortly after that.

I completed my pelvic floor training through Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute. Some of my additional trainings and certifications include: Pregnancy Rehabilitation, Postpartum Rehabilitation, Doula Services and Pelvic Rehab Services, Athletes and Pelvic Rehabilitation, Manual Therapy for the Abdominal Wall, Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist, and Dry Needling Certified through AAOMPT

I'm Dr. Allison Capps

(but you can call me ally)

I was born and raised in Crossville, TN and attended East Tennessee State University for my Exercise Science degree. I also attended received my doctorate of physical therapy from ETSU as well. Running and obstacle course racing used to be my passion! I have completed multiple half marathons, completed the Spartan Trifectas, and so many Tough Mudders I've lost count :) However we had a small lifestyle changed when we had kids, and made our home in Knoxville, TN.

When I am not working, I am spending every waking moment with my little family! My husband and I just welcomed our daughter, Izabel, into the world, and I have a 3 year old son who keeps us on our toes. We also have 3 fur babies, Klaus (the cat), Arya (the spoiled german shepherd), and Kal (our goofy belgian malinois).

let's get more personal
