I am a pelvic floor physical therapist that is passionate about women receiving the appropriate education and medical treatment that they deserve in regards to pelvic floor dysfunction. My journey started after I became pregnant with my son, where I had so many questions about exercise and pelvic pain, but I received no help or hope. This led to difficulty in my postpartum recovery that could have easily been prevented with pelvic floor and physical therapy interventions. Needless to say that after that, I began searching and educating myself through various platforms, and discovered that I have a true passion for this field! I love helping women resolve their pelvic dysfunctions, and I especially enjoy educating and preparing pregnant women for their postpartum phase, sometimes called, “the 4th Trimester”.
I was born and raised in Crossville, TN and attended East Tennessee State University for my Exercise Science degree. I also attended received my doctorate of physical therapy from ETSU as well. Since then I have done additional training to become Dry Needling Certified through the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy. I completed my pelvic floor training through Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute.
When I am not working, I am spending every waking moment with my little family! My husband and I just welcomed our daughter, Izabel, into the world, and I have a 3 year old son who keeps us on our toes. We also have 3 fur babies, Klaus (the cat), Arya (the spoiled german shepherd), and Kal (our goofy belgian malinois).
